EDK Simple Travel: Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking your travel through EDK Simple Travel, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Role as Intermediary: EDK Simple Travel acts solely as a booking agent for third-party suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators.
Limitation of Liability: EDK Simple Travel is not responsible or liable for any personal injury, property damage, delays, or financial loss caused by suppliers, acts of God, or force majeure events. We do not control the operations of these independent suppliers and cannot be held liable for their actions or omissions.

Flight Information Responsibility: If you do not have your flight details confirmed at the time of booking, it is the customer’s strict responsibility to email EDK Simple Travel your complete flight information as soon as it is secured. Failure to provide this information in a timely manner may impact airport transfers or other travel arrangements, and EDK Simple Travel will not be held liable for any resulting disruptions.
System Overbooking Agreement: By completing this booking, you acknowledge and agree that in the rare event of an accidental system overbooking, EDK Simple Travel will refund 100% of your funds within 24 hours. Alternatively, if you prefer not to receive a refund, we will provide you with the option of securing an alternative room that is closest in standard and location to your original reservation, subject to availability.

Payment Schedule: EDK Simple Travel will specify exactly when your deposits are due and the deadline by which the final balance must be paid in full (e.g., 45–60 days prior to departure, depending on the supplier).
Cancellation Policies: Penalties and fees will apply if you cancel your trip. Please note that Some deposits are strictly non-refundable. (refundable Booking must have been purchased). Some bookings and supplier rates are entirely NON-REFUNDABLE once booked. It is your responsibility to review the specific cancellation outline provided at the time of booking.
Refund Processing: All refunds are subject to the specific policies of the third-party suppliers. Because we act as an intermediary, EDK Simple Travel cannot guarantee refunds from these suppliers. Additionally, any agency planning or booking fees charged by EDK Simple Travel are strictly non-refundable.

Passports and Visas: Clients traveling internationally are required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their scheduled return date. The client is solely responsible for ensuring that the names on their travel documents exactly match their legal IDs, and for obtaining all necessary visas, permits, and entry requirements for their destination.
Health and Safety: EDK Simple Travel advises all clients to consult official government resources—such as the U.S. Department of State or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)—for up-to-date travel advisories, mandatory immunizations, and required health affidavits.

Insurance Waiver: EDK Simple Travel strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances. If you choose to decline travel insurance coverage, EDK Simple Travel requires an optional waiver acknowledgment to limit our agency's liability.
Price Changes: EDK Simple Travel has no control over the pricing set by third-party suppliers. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change without notice until ticketing is complete or the final payment has been made and processed.

Acceptance of Terms: By proceeding with this booking, clients must explicitly sign or electronically acknowledge (e.g., via a checkbox on the booking form) that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions before EDK Simple Travel will release any funds to suppliers.
